Sit Still.....

...for goodness sake just sit still, Meg!!

I went to Ikea with Jude this afternoon...what a mammoth exercise that proved to be. I wanted a small, simple desk that was all. Does anyone ever go to Ikea and only buy what they set out to buy? Well I bought two small lights, some storage boxes and thankfully a small desk. Jude hadn't actually gone for anything yet she came back with various odds and sods. Fortunately, we went in Jude's car as the flatpack would't have fitted in mine. I just need to assemble it tomorrow....that will be fun!

The sun was amazing this afternoon, a huge burning ball that painted the sky in wonderful hues of red and orange. I raced to Pennington Flash hoping to get a photo of birds on the golden water, but alas I was too late. I drove at a more soberly pace back down the East Lancs and went to Pat's to have a cuppa. Meg was going to have to be the pic of the day, but would she comply...no! All she had to do was sit still for one decent shot...she turned her head, she came too close, she jumped up as I bent low, in fact anything to avoid a pic. I need to get out and find something exciting tomorrow.
