Through the arches
Went on a photo foray to the beautiful Darenth Valley. Sandbags still block doorways in Eynsford against the recent floods, and the river is still fast flowing and a metre deep at the ford. My daughter has blipped a beautiful shot of the water near the bridge, and we both loved the setting sun coming through the arches of this wonderful old viaduct near the Lullingstone roman villa.
Brrr it was cold, just 3 deg C on the car thermometer, so we took refuge in a friendly pub to warm up with a cheese fondue.
