Angels in the Garden

We have a wide variety of plants in our yard. I try my best to use native friendly plants that require very little water or maintenance. We have a lot of large plants that are very colorful and draw attention to themselves immediately.

While walking into the garage I glanced over and noticed this lone iris blossom. When I looked at this photo I thought it reminded of me an angel or fairy. It is so delicate with beautiful subtle coloring, much as I imagine an angel or fairy would be. It doesn't call attention to its beauty, it just "is".
