Moon Rising
A walk in the last hour of light gave the opportunity to take a number of photos in and around the trees on Shire Hill. I was quite pleased with some of the close-ups of Birch trees but in the end I thought this one caught the mood on a chilly afternoon.
Once again we had a weather forecast with a big sun shining on it all day. Although the end of the day was like that it started wet , sleety , snow on the tops so the forecasters were wrong yet again.
I had an enjoyable chat with a visitor to the town and guided him down the hill as the light faded. He is in town for a few weeks setting up a new restaurant opposite M&S and already knows its Brighton next for him despite home being in Cornwall as he said he has to go where the work is.
My dodgy knee seems to have survived the toughest test I have given it for some time up and down and round and round in mud and rocky ground.
