Good friends

Here's my good mate Rob, and we are playing the classic game Battleships without computers or iPads or smartphones or the internet or Apple Macs or Facebook. Just good old face to face chat and laughter and fun.

Blipfoto is fascinating. It's this worldwide slice of people's lives that we are able to look at and involve ourselves with. I've already subscribed to a few people, and I'm just fascinated to see what thrills and moves and motivates other people.

What an amazing global "thing" this is...and so much better than FarceBook! You have to really think... In a year or so's time what do I want to remember about today? What was really special about today? Was it something I saw? Or somewhere I went? Or a person I spent time with? And so you actually try to get a bit more out of the day because you know you're going to have to share a slice of it once the day is done.

It's almost like a confessional...

Or maybe it's late, and I'm just looking too deep - as usual :-)
