And in [first] place...

Before Christmas Alex and I went to a local pub for something to eat and we inadvertently joined in the "Speed quiz" where you use your smart phone as a handset.
It's really good as there's not cheating and it's good fun (did I really say that?!)
Anyway, last time we were winning for the whole quiz and then got pipped at the post with the last few questions...
It took me a bit to get over i, as I'm a bad loser, and we foolishly answered wrongly in a few instances.

Tonight we decided to take another trip to he pub and perhaps partake in the quiz if it was on.
Take part we did, and this time we didn't fuck it up.... We won!!!
Ironic since our quiz team name is "and in last place"
We were rewarded with 2 bottles of wine and congratulations through some gritted teeth of the usual winners.

The really funny thing was, that when he got home, Alex insisted we take a photo for prosperity (and his daily recording) and he encouraged Noodle in on the photo.
When we looked back, Noodle had been mid-yawn at the precise moment Alex hit the shutter & the photo was hilarious!!! It looked like she was equally was pleased as us!
We just couldn't contain ourselves and were in fits of laughter! You know that type where you can't breath and your stomach is hurting....!
