The Lesser Adjutant

An early start this morning to take the boat out to the Prek Toal Bird Reserve on the Tonle Sap lake, one of the largest breeding colonies for rare waterbirds in Asia, including Lesser Adjutant, Greater Adjutant and Milky Stork (all of which we saw) as well as Asian Open-Billed and Black-necked Stork.

Most of them were still far away, but this one flew right over us.
