Very cold 9th Hole

Very chilly start to the day. I think Chris had a reading of -4 in his car on the way to the course!

Which meant it was nice and empty. We sailed round, playing a scramble, and birdied the first 2 holes. Sadly we lost a couple of shots on the 11th and 12th, but we managed par over the 18 holes which is some achievement. Clearly Chris is a better player than Fat Andy (see last week!)

We thought we would play a bonus hole, so played the 130 yard par 3 13th hole for a second time. I foolishly offered some money for nearest the pin, so Chris promptly hit the green for the first time in the round. I shot, and also landed on the green, and it was hard to tell who was closest as we walked up. General consensus was that I was about 2 foot closer than him, but we were both left with 20 - 25 foot puts. To our amazement, both went in!

So does this mean we can replace the 3 we scored on the way round with a 2 and say that we beat the course?

Oh - and Chris. You owe me some money!!
