Baby it's cold outside

Woke up this morning to a colourful sky and a hard frost and the patches of snow from yesterday had turned to solid ice.
After dropping David at work we went along to Howdens for a cooked breakfast. I was hoping to get a blip of the snowy mountain tops but it was really too dull so we headed for home and I managed to get a shot of two of my favourite beech trees on the road up to Roskill near Munlochy. The carpark was miles too icy to venture into and fortunately the traffic was light so managed to take this from the road turning.
Will have to wait and see what comes up in the surrounding fields. They are starting to turn green but I did nt take a good look. Hope it's not all rape seed as it's no good for my hayfever :(
