Fractals

Two of my favourite photographers are the Americans Elliot Porter and Ernst Hass whose images portray the way in which patterns in Nature recur over and over from microscopic detail to vast landscapes.

This image reminds me of flying over the desert area of Utah with it's multitude of coloured rock but is in fact a macro of a tiny area of a clamshell picked up on my local beach.

I am trying to make a collection of these images to eventually produce as a photobook.
