Landing gear down!

I managed to drag myself to the pool this morning, but I have to say it was an effort to go out in the dark. I'm glad I went though as I always feel better starting the day with a swim. I then did a run to the tip then headed to Pennington Flash. The sun was glaringly bright but only for a short time, then it disappeared behind a huge, sulky cloud. I took a few shots of the birds but it was bitingly cold so I called it a day and hoped I had something worth using. Most of the pics were not super sharp and I was disappointed when I looked at them on screen, but I rather liked the curve of this gull as it came in for a landing.
