Self Service??

The bunnies are far too busy eating to say anything today!!!
I am reading Graham Nash's autobiography, ( ex Hollies, Crosby, Stills and Nash)
I'm rather enjoying it. However, there is quite a bit of swearing in it and a lot of it seems pretty pointless to me.
I reckon there are four different kinds of swearing.
1. Habitual - I know some people who can't say a sentence without using a few swear words. I just think it is pretty boring.
2. Shock e.g. if you hit your finger with a hammer!
3. To emphasise something - only powerful if used selectively I think.
4. Aggressive swearing. I really don't like this.
I am guilty of 2 and 3 at times.
