Out with old, in with the new....

Today was another beautiful day in Mintlaw. I almost posted a photo of the sky - not a cloud in sight, just a glorious blue, not unlike the background of this collage. However I decided that might be too minimal so offer you instead my hellebores and snowdrops, the former rapidly getting passed their best, the latter a few weeks from reaching their prime.

I'm still a bit incapacitated after my wee accident. Stiff and sore says it all! Hubby is also crook. In his case, his hip is playing up and we've taken the sad decision that I'll go to the States in April with Mrs H. and he will stay at home. The thought of a long haul flight fills him with horror at the moment!

I've been advised to take medical advice so will queue at 8 am at our local surgery tomorrow to try and get an on-the-day appointment. Otherwise it's two weeks before I can see a doctor by which time I hope to be returned to rude health! The joys of the NHS!
