Stone-d

Another painful day, as my body recovers from the nasty shock I gave it last week. I gave in and visited the doctor this morning who signed me off work for two weeks, and prescribed some stronger painkillers than I've been used to. So I may well be a wee bit stoned over the next day or so as these drugs kick in!

It's a strange feeling being off work, as I haven't had a line, or fit note as they are called these days, since 2002. So I suppose in the grand scheme of things this one is overdue.The doctor tells me that the damaged tissue should start to heal soon and that I should feel better in a couple of days. I hope so. I'm not a good patient!
