Shooting from the Hip!

If you try to photograph anything in Buchanan Galleries big, burly security men get very nervous and approach with demands that you stop immediately .... very non-Glasgow behaviour actually, and certainly not replicated in Princes Square which often looks like a studio for photography learners.

Today, I had my SLR slung low across my chest but facing front after taking some pics outside; I suddenly realised that if I tried to aim carefully and shot from the hip I might just get something interesting.

I know it's naughty, but sometimes security just goes too far, and the sense of triumph when we were back outside and I could see the four peculiar and one interesting shot! Ha ha!
