Window Sill

We had the opportunity to meet our Germany family, and within a short time both my sister and I did feel a familial bond. Even though we had never met before and knew very little about each others' lives, the connection was strong and lasting.

The home was light (natural window light) and airy, arrayed with beautiful plants and flowers on the sills. Outdoors was equally as beautiful. At this time of year, the leaves on the lush hillsides are just beginning to turn color. The treed hills are dotted with small towns and villages filled with history and old stone buildings.

It has been quite a trip and this last part of getting to know our relatives was the highlight. Hopefully, the connection will grow even stronger over time, and maybe we will meet again!!
