Orach

Atriplex hortensis. Also called Mountain Spinach, and used in salads. I'm trying this from seed, and the plants are a couple inches tall at the moment. They can get up to six feet tall and apparently self-seed all over the place, so we'll see how it goes. We discovered orach at a tiny farmer's market on the Oregon coast last summer, and a very tasty discovery it was.
