J was beside himself....while he and R were out, I watched whales breaching from the comfort of the balcony.

Wildlife pretty much HAS to jump out in front of me, as a history of bad eyesight plus a lack of being sufficiently interested, means I'd usually be paying more attention to how comfortable the chairs are, or whether I can reach the snacks and read at the same time, than what sort of large animal that is.
