Unexpected homework

I had a lovely time on the dog walk snapping with my camera. As i headed for the sunken garden I spotted this label in the long grasses at its entrance. I squinted up at it thinking it was a description of the plant and was surprised to find some homework! There is a girls school really close to this dog walk. I think the teacher who planned this open air teaching is brilliant, I hope my girls have her in the years ahead. I spent the rest of the walk looking for more labels and thinking about Pride and Prejudice.

Heidi had a happy swimming lesson after Claire made all the swimming mums and girls a fab lunch and we collected India after cookery club complete with delicious biscuits.
