#100happydays - Day 12

After a bad day at work I thought it would be difficult to find something happy to write about. I came home with no patience or energy and was telling the Mr. how grumpy I was when Chickpea came over to me and gave me a hug and a kiss and said," I love you!" I asked if she was trying to make me feel better and she nodded. I could have cried that she had so much empathy and love for me when I wasn't at my best. Love that girl.

Later in the evening we got the puppet theatre out and I performed a rendition of "The Gruffalo." Then Monkey did another one which involved the mouse and the squirrel falling in love. After that, Chickpea put on a show with different finger puppets that involved a horse, sheep, princess, dragon and a wizard that saved them all by getting rid of the dragon. Sweet moments.
