"Petaleura"

What a joy today to discover that a much loved cafe in Mount Victoria has been given a new life. The historic Bay Tree Cafe has sat vacant and unloved for almost two years now. Happily a new owner with enormous vision has finally opened the doors to "Petaleura".

What started out as a trip to Mt Vic to see if the cafe had any sign of life turned into the most amazing lunch, yumm.

We were fascinated to find out that Petaleura gigantic is a threatened species - A Giant Dragonfly. One of its natural habitats is in the Blue Mountains. (you learn something every day!)
