Storm Victim

The past months of relentless storms have transformed the once mostly flat beach at Ryde which now has it's very own miniature Chesil Beach. The shingle has been moulded into a long spit which at low tide separates a big expanse of water from the sea.

Trapped in the inland lake is part of a small dinghy wrecked during the storms. The rest of it is at Seaview about a mile away.

In large you should be able to make out the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth.
