Clearing the snow
When all the snow falls (currently about 35 cm deep and still coming down) some of it has to be cleared away. That's a lot of shovelling so in our village our neighbour and his tractor clear the snow for many of us who live here. Depending on how many times he is out through the winter this costs Jan and I two to three hundred pounds every year. It is worth every kronor!
We still need to clear the doorway to the house, and the cottage (seen here behind the plough), clear down to the cellar and around our cars. That's enough for me.
