What came first Easter or The Egg???

Me and Hubby have been having a debate as to whether Mini eggs are available all year round.
I thought you could could only get them at Easter (which actually means as soon as the Christmas Chocolates are off the shelf) until they run out (in time for the Christmas chocolates to appear!)
