Merkinch Nature Reserve

We had hoped to go skiing today but it turned out to be rather dull and gloomy so we went to do some boat work, some bird watching at Udale, some window shopping for some boat stuff and a walk around the Merkinch Nature Reserve. This was a surprise as there were about 20 herons resting in the reed beds! The shots were not great so we will have to wait for better light another day.
