Locked Up

Finally got to escape from work at lunchtime today. Had plenty to do in the office, but I was at a dead stop until our colleagues in the US decided to roll out of bed and answer their emails :-)

The canal locks at Wolverhampton run alongside our offices. This used to be where I went for lunchtime walks on a fairly regular basis. Got out of the habit for some reason - it has been ages since I've been down here. I can see the canal and surrounding environs featuring in a few more photos over the coming months. Next week I'm working in Paris - hope to get some decent pics from that trip (note to self - try to nick wife's compact camera for travels).

Here we see lock number 16 of 21. Not much colour in the original pic, so I decided to convert to B&W in Elements. Not a bad result given that I just used my crappy old Blackberry for the shot!
