The Pie Factory

Last night we went to Mad O'Rourke's Pie Factory in the darkest depths of the Black Country. Great starter, great main, sweet was so-so. This time round I had the Nigella pie (expecting it to be dusted with white powder) - just a posh chicken pie in reality (nothing wrong with that) - plenty of chicken! Good to meet up with Mark and Jo - we must make sure we get out together more often this year....

To the photo then : I had to pop outside to the smoking area to be able to get a signal to do my obligatory FaceBook check-in. Whilst here I noticed this sign and decided that it fitted in nicely with the theme of the evening (pub looks like a butchers) and also linked into some of my other recent BlipPhotos - Barbican Centre and canal lock. Like both of these earlier photos, colour was very much in short supply, so I decided to convert to B&W.
