There must be a story to this one.......?

These must be the best scarecrows I've seen. I've never actually stopped the car to take a blip before, but today I did.

It was the fact that they were dressed in boiler suits that made me laugh. I think they must be proving quite a landmark and are certainly worth coming off the M80 to see! I love how the one on the left is casually standing against his perch, hand in pocket as if having a good old chat with the other one.

Don't know when they appeared. Must have been when we were away on holiday.

Question is, who put them there? A farmer? The guys making the new link road to Kirkintilloch? Someone just monkeying about? Wonder if anyone saw them being put in situ? Maybe there will be an article in the local paper? Do they have names?
