The Old Range
This beautiful range is in a local restaurant. I particularly like the blue and white tiles. Up until she died Bunty, who helped in our house when the kids were little, had a black range burning in the same room as she had her box bed. There was always a kettle steaming away - and our kids thought it quite magical - so cosy sleeping beside the heat. Bizarrely, although we live relatively near the gas terminal at St. Fergus, our village does not have gas. So I cook on an electric ceramic hob - and spend an awful lot of time and cleaning products keeping it presentable. I'll never buy another one!
