Boathouse

A brighter afternoon over the hill in Marple.

A walk along the canal - the Macclesfield canal in this case. If you don't know Marple there is a choice of canals in three directions. It was very busy with families and some larger organised groups walking in every direction. A short walk to the shops at the end showed plenty of people out and about and the cafés all very busy even at 4pm

This old boat house was completely missed when walking past initially but caught the eye returning the same route.

Lots of birds around - most notable some noisy Starlings making some very strange calls.
