Bryan Brown and Tom Cruise eat your heart out

Finished work on time and headed home as we are going out. It was fellow blipper RD's birthday today. Happy Birthday. 45 35 and not looking too bad.
He had found a whisky cocktail event hosted by Solid Liquids. Great couple of guys we first met at the whisky Stramash last year.
They had a Groupon offer on for a whisky cocktail event at The Place on York Place. Turns out we were the only 4.
Started off by meeting RD's girlfriend and going for a beer at Lord Bodus. Met up with J at the hotel and settled in for a great night. As there were only 4 of us we had a go at making some of the cocktails as well. Not quite the same as the film but we still managed a good attempt. Can't recommend the guys enough. If you get a chance go to one of their events.
Finished the night off with a curry and then a beer back at the flat. Great night.
