Climbers

Here are the climbers we put up the other day (a wedding present from my sister and brother and their respective families). I was actually taking photos beneath this, as we pulled the carpet up - and a couple of floorboards, too - today, to try to work out why our floor has been rucking up. The floorboards shots were ok, but they were all messy and this one was much more pleasing to the eye :)

We went down to Kent to see my brother and his family today, and to finally drop off all their Christmas presents. Had a lovely couple of hours catching up with them, then came home and got on with pulling our dining room apart. The good news is we don't have any damp, or anything like that - but the semi-bad news is we may have quite a lot of work to do to get our floors all nice and even again. Definitely a job for another day....
