Crossroads

There was so much I would have liked to photograph today such as old abandoned houses, roads and railways not to mention one of the most unusual/spectacular sunsets I've seen.

We took an old favourite route through the twisties to Tenterfield. There we joined up with the New England Hwy where an unrelenting gale tried to blow us off the road all the way to Tamworth where we stopped for the night. When we arrived the weather was fine and we met three other bikers at the campsite who are making the same trip to the Island.

A relief to have a smooth start to the journey with some nice roads although it got very cold after sunset combined with the elevation.
