Sam the "Apple Man"

This afternoon we called in to have a chat to Sam Edwards, the passionate new owner of the historic Logan Brae Orchard on Shipley Plateau.
Sam took over the iconic orchard from the Jackson family who had been running the orchard since 1919.

It was so inspiring to hear Sam speak about the orchard and his plans for the future. We were two weeks early for the new seasons apples, but not too early to buy some candied honey and a delicious apple pie!
