Union Canal at Muiravonside Aqueduct

I've photographed the Muiravonside Aqueduct before. 250m long and 26m high, it is the tallest and longest aqueduct in Scotland. However, I have never photographed it from this angle!

I wasn't in the water, or even on it. Instead I used my monopod, holding it out in front of me as I faced the canal. And luckily I managed to avoid dipping the camera into the water! A little touch of Topaz adjust to add the "painting-like" finishing touches.
