The Garden Song

This is one of my favourite pieces of pottery. He comes from Skyeline ceramics on the Isle of Skye. We have a quite a few pieces from here including some pots and a seal. I really like these shelf sheep there's even a photographer one :) Will have to wait until we return later in the year to get one.
My Grandad was a great gardener growing all sorts of fruit and veg in neat rows without a weed in sight. My Mum is also keen on gardening, mainly flowers with garden looking it's best in the Spring and Summer when it is a mass of colour. She has been desperate to get into the garden but the weather has been so wet the garden is quite water logged. She has carried on the tradition to ban weeds. I try but several weeds do sneak in especially now I have trouble bending down to get the roots out.
