Boris

I do nt actual know this horses name but we call him Boris because of it's long hair. It did spot me in the end even though I had been taking photos for about 15 minutes and looked quite surprised to see me.
I managed to get down to the doctors this morning although the wheels on the car were spinning abit. It was ok once we reached the bottom.
Mike picked me up after and we drove to Rosemarkie as I wanted to see if the Brent Geese that we saw yesterday were still there. Unfortunately they had moved on but I was delighted to see several stonechats, rock pipits, robins, a wren and grey and pied wagtails all after the insects along the waters edge. There was a fair amount of seaweed which must have been full of tiny, hopping insects.
The temperature has remained at minus something all day and now back down to nearly minus 3. It was a stunning day though filled with blue skies and sunshine.
