Embracing trees

I found this beech/ash tree today. The two trunks are completely fused together (beech on the right) and higher up the branches of the two species wind around each other resulting in a completely mixed up canopy. I've seen trees growing into each other before, but never quite as well connected as this. I guess I should have saved this photo for Valentines Day.
