Lazy Sunday
A really mixed day. It started well enough with a beautiful, mild, sunny morning perfect for wandering round the garden looking for good blip subjects. Being mid winter (albeit a mild one so far) there's not much in flower but here's one of about three viburnum buds I could find.
Having decided to go get a new iPhone5c at lunchtime, I backed the car out and immediately knew what was wrong. I hit a massive, water filled (and therefore invisible) pothole on my way back from my sister's last night and was quite surprised the tyre didn't blow out there and then as the bang was so loud and forceful. In fact, the tyre went down overnight, which is a blessing I guess.
Anyway, Sod's law it's one of my new ones, purchased only the week before last. Harrumph. Not a happy bunny. That's another £175 down the (pothole) drain. It could be even worse if, as I suspect, the wheel itself is also out of shape. Fingers crossed they can knock it back in!
Caught up on 'The Bridge II' and enjoyed the 'Sports Relief Bake Off' as I waited for my white knight (well rather unkempt, unshaven, gent who I couldn't understand and who was 20 mins late too).
So after a two hour delay, I finally acquired my new phone and I really hope the camera is as good as Apple make out. I'm considering acquiring the special lenses that can be attached to give me more scope, though I'm not sure I can afford them now! Watch this space.
Hoping for a quieter evening...
