The figurehead was.......

The figurehead at the 'Glenlee. A barque known as the Tall Ship at the Glasgow Transport museum. She is a steel hulled sailing ship built in 1896. She plied the oceans of the world for many years carrying general cargo which ranged from oil, coal and wheat to guano. She then became a training vessel for the Spanish Navy.

She was built in Glasgow and was brought back to be restored. The way of life of the sailors and officers is really well illustrated. The captain had a hip bath!
Climbing the rigging to take in sails that weighed a ton when dry and two when wet; what iron men they were.
