Ok, it's so so late!

Had to travel up to Aberdeen to position for work tomorrow. Rushed a walk in with the dog this morning... And saw these weird fungal growths on the top of a little used wood bench part way along our route...

Sort of revolting and compulsively fascinating at the same time. Not really sure how to react to these.... Things. Are they weirdly beautiful or just weird?

Hmmm.... Time for bed. Up to work in Shetland tomorrow, and it looks like it's gonna be SNAFU.
