Watching the evening film

The morning was spent in Maidstone. I looked at lots of things in sales but wasn't persuaded to part with my money.

We had an excellent lunch in A French style bistro - Frederic Bistro Which is always just great and really is like a French style no fuss bistro (Fred has taken the precaution of becoming 'known' to the chef...) I really recommend it if you are in Maidstone.
Afternoon I spent reading (reading group book - brilliant excuse) in between anything that had to be done.

We watched Alfred Hitchcock's 'Rear Window' as Alex has been saying for several years he wants to do film directing andhe has analysed some recent films to death but we felt he needed to look at some other older well directed films.
