Spot the difference (Number 2!)
I saw that this shop had closed on Friday, but my BT man up a pole was definitely the blip for the day!
No exiting people in action today
It was my blip for 10 August.
The owners have opened a shop in larger premises off the High Street that allow for lay-outs of model train sets and war games and so on, so it was not surprising they eventually closed the smaller shop. (The directions to it can be seen on the door). It does seem shame to have painted over the art work in white though! I also don't know what the wooden boat/ship model did to deserve being left behind...
A massive unbagging session at the shop today, I cam home hungry and tired. There was a hard frost on everything early this morning and I thought the blossoming tree looked a little less pink but it could be the difference in the daylight.
Oh and a woman made my day today when she recognised me as her geography teacher from the 1980's! Obviously I have not changed that much!! She was at the first (secondary) school I ever taught in, in London. We had a nice chat. She moved to Rochester 3 years ago when she married again. I realised I am only about 12 years older than her!
