Love Notes

My love leaves for the field tomorrow and will probably be gone for a month+. In our 17 months of being married, we've only done one 7-week consecutive stint apart before. We knew this was coming from the beginning, and it will probably be the first of many, but needless to say, I'm not necessarily looking forward to such extended time apart.

We have the joy of doing all day every day together, so these big chunks of time apart is like having a bandaid just ripped right off. Ouch.

To make his little breaks in the field just a little more homey, I send him with a few little love notes.

I'm so grateful to do life alongside such an incredible man. I am so blessed.
