Hola!

Sometimes having a mid-week meal with friends is just what the doctor ordered - a good laugh, relaxation, a change from the norm, good food and in this case, meeting some new people.

One of our friends has a Spanish business student over from the Basque region on work experience, working in her office. There are 8 students in total, and tonight we met 2 of them, both sharing the same name, Amaida! On this occasion, they were introduced to the delights of haggis, stovies, oatcakes and shortbread.

They also said they enjoyed whisky so they were treated to this one. However, many would say this is not a starter whisky, rather a very acquired taste. Personally, I can't stand the stuff and in my humble opinion, Caol Ila smacks of TCP!! At least their insides would be squeaky keen.

.........Perhaps a good after-dinner drink if your at Mags then! Hee hee.
