A grim old day...

... when all one can do is batten down the hatches. That is what these Lapwing were doing on Baleshare. One good thing about the weather is that it brings the waders to the front of our house as there is a little shelter there. At one stage we had about 30 Dunlin just below our front door.
Ideal chance to do all those fiddly and frustrating things one should do with your computer but never quite get around to doing. Frustrating rather than successful is the result on my endeavours today. What language are those instructions written? Combining all these factors with the fact that it is a fast day and life has been better!
