Rain stopped play

It was a fine day today, leaving me encouraged by the prospects for some further after-dark photography. I duly went to my chosen location, in the hope of getting some light-reflecting-off-water shots. I set-up the tripod and attached the camera and shutter release cable then fiddled with manual settings. And then it rained: that cold, lashing, swirling rain, that gets you from all angles. I managed to take just three longish exposure shots but then dismantled everything and fled for home. Turned-out OK but no real chance to play around, as I had hoped to do.
