D said, "Wouldn't this be the perfect shot... if only a huge flock of birds, say geese, flew by, so as to get a great reflection in the water?"

Ten minutes later...

Spent all morning and early afternoon on a terrific photo hunt with a wonderful new friend. It was hard to pick just one blip -we discovered so many great shots. We came across two Russian-born fisherman plucking carp out of the water. Did a little drive by shooting of Amish pulling their team in the field. Discovered a very pretentious wrought iron fence out in the middle of nowhere. Chatted a little with the owner of an old house he was painting, while the six large United States flags flanking his porch billowed in the soft breeze.
