Hope

That post Christmas dullness disappears when the first snowdrops raise their heads. Those tiny white flowers that make an appearance in January send little goosebumps through my skin, thinking of the longer, warmer days that are to come. No, not just yet. It's still cold and dark out. But this is the first sign of hope and the coming spring.
