SOB - Day 3

Yesterday I featured a male professional player, today I thought it appropriate to give the women equal time. Because there are four professionals of each sex on this year's trip, the administration thought it would be good to showcase their considerable talents with a demonstration match at the end of the day. Tonight was the women's turn and they did not disappoint the crowd that gathered. Athletic to say the least, they battled above the net and in the sand. Such quickness, such power, such agility. Megan Wallin is hitting, Heather Hughes is blocking and Crystal Engle is moving into defensive position (not shown is Kim DiCello). Seems like I get at least one shot like this every year, but normally not until the finals. Such a treat to see this level of play earlier in the week. Tomorrow is the men's turn.
